Don't make the mistake of cutting down on your water intake. You should also be drinking half your body weight in ounces of water every day to avoid constipation. For example, if you weigh 160 pounds, you should be drinking 80 ounces of water daily. Cut back on the fluids a couple of hours before you go to bed, however, to avoid too many nocturnal bathroom visits.
